A lot happens at Brussels North Station. In "Roman de Gare", you'll meet all kinds of characters, at all different times of the day. The effervescence of this place makes it special, and if I may say so, pretty beautiful.
I've always been intrigued by different ways of living. So I set myself a challenge: enter the world of homeless people.
I'd always thought of them as people like you and me, but to be honest, I'd always left a distance between them and myself.
But why? They also have dreams, opinions and a voice. They have strong personalities, incredible stories to tell and immense courage. Only, at some point in their lives, they didn't have the same means as the majority.
I spent 5 days with this family, this community of "street people". I want to transport you a little into their reality and their stories. It's a rough sketch of the experience I had and all the things they taught me.
Because each series of photos hides a great story that was built up between the characters and me.
